The only time there is a fee is if you elect to pay to have your article posted to a directory by a service. You can purchase software that will distribute your articles to article directories automatically as well. You may want to start manually if you are new to it. This will give you some experience in setting up accounts and learning the ropes. Pay attention to guidleines.
Craigslist.org
Drive visitors to your business opportunity capture pages using Craigslist. If you do not know how to build capture pages we will discuss this in another blog shortly. Craigslist.org is a local classifieds and forums – community moderated, and largely free where you can find jobs, housing, goods and services, and post to small biz section. This is where you will go to post ads about your opportunity. You can also go to the classified section but follow guidelines. You need to post locally, 3 or 4 per day is my advice, unless you have more than one account setup that you use. Spamming can get you banned otherwise.
Things To Do: Small Biz Section ( 3 major cities/day)
- After you log in, select desired city
- Select Small Biz in Services section
- Read ads to get idea of good and bad ad types
- Click Post
- Create Strong compelling headline
- Add Short ad body, preferably a clip from your capture page with a call to action/
- Enter URL Address of your capture page at end of ad body- (http://www.yourdomain.com/)
- Submit
Blogs
Blogs are such a huge way to market who you are and what you are all about online. These days blogs are becoming quite the signature for people, especially in business. Here are some helpful tips about blogging:
- 1st and foremost – Add value to your readers and establish a mutual relationship.
- 2ndly – Don’t use your blog to spam everyone with your business opp.
- 3rdly – Make it interactive, include input from others greater than yourself.
